Risk Assessment Analysis

Risk assessments are designed to;

  • Identify hazards in a workplace, task or process
  • Assess and consider the level of risk associated with a hazard
  • Decide on control measures to prevent and/or minimise the risk
  • Develop and implement control measures
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of the measure

From our extensive experience in Physiotherapy, Strength & Conditioning, Workplace Health and Health Promotion, HIPA understand the significant role in which manual handling can cause risks to both the Employer and Employee.

Hierarchy of Control

Our Staff are trained in all manual handling environments, ranging from office based tasks to heavy industry occupations. Using specific Risk Assessment tools, HIPA can help evaluate Risk Assessments at workplaces and help develop control measures to minimise risk.

Liaising directly with the Occupational Health and Safety Department, policies and procedures can be altered if there are any significant risks which are identified.
